Asphalt services
Built from the base up
Private roads, shared lanes, and long farm or estate drives carry more traffic and more weight than a standard driveway, so they're built more like a street: a deeper compacted base, a crown or pitch so water runs off, and hot-mix asphalt laid with a paver and rolled. We pave private roads for homeowners, HOAs, and communities across Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware, including Chadds Ford, Kennett Square, Glen Mills, and Hockessin, from gravel-to-asphalt conversions to resurfacing roads that have worn out.

Common questions
Yes. Existing gravel often becomes part of the base once it's graded and compacted, with more stone added where it's thin.
With crown or pitch so water runs to the edges, plus swales or culverts where the land needs them. Water sitting on asphalt is what shortens its life.
We quote the job as one project and can lay out the proposal so the cost is easy to split.
It depends on length and base work. Most run a few days from start to finish.
